The 5th annual Arctic Encounter (AES) is a two day symposium taking place at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center on Pier 66 in downtown Seattle on Thursday, April 19, 2018 and Friday, April 20, 2018.
The theme of AES 2018 is The Future of Arctic Security: Energy, Environment, International, Economic. AES is honored and thrilled to welcome a wide range of speakers to the 2018 symposium to address security issues pertaining to national and military security, food security, economic security, and much more.
AES is the largest annual Arctic policy, security, and economics convening in the United States. AES convenes national and international policy makers, diplomats, scientists, business leaders, reporters, researchers, tribal and indigenous leaders, and other stakeholders.
Advanced registration is required. Early bird rates will expire on March 19th.
Registration includes light breakfast on both dates of the symposium, two seated keynote luncheons, one wine and cheese reception, one cocktail hour reception with passed appetizers, and one seated three course dinner with keynote addresses and musical performances. Registration grants access to all plenary sessions, keynotes, break out sessions, and exhibits.
The Arctic Encounter agenda for April 19-20 is available through the AES website and is updated as additional confirmations are made on a rolling basis.
